The American Business Forum (ABF) hosted a welcome dinner in Lahore on September 27th, 2022 to mark the inaugural visit of US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome. ABF President emphasized the importance of the US-Pakistan relationship, and the potential to further strengthen Pakistan’s business, enabling the environment and building the capacities of Pakistani institutions focused on investment promotion in their efforts to improve the ecosystem for foreign direct investment, to increase the bilateral trade and investment between the US and Pakistan. The US Ambassador to Pakistan then discussed the region’s growing youth population and its potential, efforts to diversify, the emergence of the private sector, and efforts to build knowledge-based economies.
